In 1953, Barbara Dill returned home to Bay Shore, New York, after serving her country in the Korean War Navy. Newly married and ready to build something of her own, she started a small tax practice: Bardill Taxes. In an era when returns were prepared by hand and mailed in, Barbara built her business on something simple — showing up for people with care and getting it right.

Word spread across Long Island. Barbara's reputation grew not just because she was skilled, but because every client felt genuinely looked after. Years later, her son Keith Dill joined her, carrying that same passion into the next generation of the business.

In 2019, Alejandra Mendez-Dill joined the family and the business — the same year Barbara passed away. Keith and Alejandra found themselves stewards of everything Barbara had built, and they knew her legacy deserved room to grow.

That vision became reality in 2025, when Bardill Taxes became Bardill Business Support — expanding beyond income taxes to bookkeeping, business tax support, process improvement, and virtual assistance, serving growing businesses not just on Long Island, but across the country.

Barbara Dill passed away, but her dream never did. It lives on in every client we support, every process we simplify, and every business we help build with the same care she started with in 1953.
